It is divided in four sections: "Collar de lágrimas/Necklace of Tears," "Bienes, Raíces/Real, Estates," "Aguamala/Physalia Arethusa," "Latido de puma, manos de pulpo/Cougar Heartbeat, Octopus Hands," "Iglesia/Church," and "Al ritmo de tus unciones/To the Rhythm of Your Essence." A wide variety of topics: love, the immigrant experience, language. Each poem is first in Spanish, and then in English (the author being responsible for both versions).
