Buyback Policies & Procedures |
|
We offer a year-round buyback of textbooks. The price we pay is set by a national wholesaler based on the current national demand for the book. The Campus Store will buy back textbooks each semester during exam week. If we have received a professor's order for a book to be used the following semester and the book is in good shape, we will pay 50% of the the new price until we have purchased the quantity required for the following semester. If we are not aware of the book being used on this campus in the following semester, we will pay the price set by a national wholesaler. We can offer you the best price for your book at the end of the semester. By this time we have received orders from many of the faculty and we can pay you more for your used books. Textbook Return Policy Textbooks can be returned with a receipt during the first week of class. After the first week of class, you need a completed drop slip and a receipt in order to return a textbook. Textbooks purchase after the first week of class are not returnable. New books must be in new condition, with no writing, highlighting, bent corners or spines. If the book is sealed, the seal may not be broken. Software and recordings must still be sealed. Defective books will be replaced with the same title at no charge and should be returned immediately upon detection. The Campus Store will begin returning books to the publishers approximately one month after the start of classes. After this time, you will need to place a special order for texts. All refunds are subject to the discretion of the campus store manager. |
